Mama Jenufa: It really was a fantastic night. My small party of friends and I loved it!

Tony Pallister: I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and everyone I spoke to enjoyed it too... A damn good line up with a very friendly lively audience with a great venue... Angel and yourself (Gehenna) put a hell a lot of time and effort in and it definitely paid off.

Andromeda: The show was fabulous! (As always) and it was a delight to see so many talented people.... its makes me want to get up there myself! the show was so good it was well worth the journey to see it....

Tempest Devyne: What a show! Gehenna and Angel you must be so proud - it was fantastic! In fact, it topped off my best birthday ever!! Brilliant show!! So glad I got there at last!

Scarlet Fever (UK): Wow guys, I just wanted to thank you for a great night at your show on Saturday, although we had a long drive, it was certainly worth it! You had some amazing acts who were so fun and very entertaining, (that means you the wonderful Heather Sweet) you have done so well with your night and should be so proud.

Tara Ra Boomdeay: I had a marvellous time. Angel and Gehenna I think you outdid yourselves this time, and I can't wait to see many more Silk Stocking shows. A magician, Singing, and BURLESQUE you spoil us so. I can't wait to January; thank you again for doing Birmingham Proud! xx

Miss D: for anyone who didn't make it, you unfortunately missed the best Silk Stocking ever. Fabulous acts, envious singing, a magician with a fabulous line in comedy and a top crowd. Needless to say, I had a great time.

Ms. Dazzle Dior: Had a great night. I loved all of the performances. Where do they all get their ideas from? Amazing!

Madame Guillotine: I had a brilliant night, all the acts were fabulous. Everyone I met was lovely it’s great to see new faces. Congrats to Angel and Gehenna and everyone involved for a great show!

Miss D: Angel and Gehenna should be exceptionally proud on another triumph.

Andromeda: It was a fabulous night..... I have been smiling all day remembering it. It was only my second real show and I loved it. I already want to come to the next one!

Tara Ra Boomdeay: I had a great night it was my first burlesque night and really enjoyed the performances.

Sinthia Darling: IT was an amazing night tonight, I loved every minute.

Miss D: I have just written a long gushing post but managed to lose it. Damn technology!

It went along the lines of Fabulous time; splendid to meet you, marvellous singing (I wish I could sing properly when in full health, never mind ill - huge respect); cracking audience; lovely atmosphere; particularly loved 'Casino du Mal'; (and Fleur's red shoes); Paul Brook - Good, ain't he?; would have liked to have stayed, but owing to own stupidity I had work in the morning. So your moved to Saturdays are not only a triumph for your show, but might keep me in employment a bit longer.

However the most important bit went...:-

...and I would particularly like to thank you for making a fuss of my fella on his birthday weekend. (What you don't know is that he lives in Lancs, and for assorted dull work/financial/other reasons we will have to remain 110 miles apart for at least another year or so, until some things are sorted out. We sometimes see each other most weekends, sometimes once a month, and organising our lives can be a right PITA occasionally! But not withstanding that, he does most of the driving. It gets hard sometimes.)

So this weekend was definitely his birthday 'weekend' of doing lots of fun stuff, and you just topped it off with such thought and style. You're all marvellous people, and I am, for now, the best GF in the world.

So, a sincere thanks for that. In fact I don't know how to say that without making it sound gushing, but I mean it.

Here's to the continued success of the Silk Stocking! Hurrah!
